PRACTICE. PRACTICE. PRACTICE UNTIL MY FINGERS BLEED AND YOUR EYES CLOSE. I PRACTICE COLORING BECAUSE I LOVE WHAT I DO. I LOVE CREATING ART. THIS ONE WAS REALLY TOUGH. THE ORIGINAL PIECE WAS COLORED BY CHRIS SOTOMAYOR AND PUBLISHED. I OBTAINED THE INKS FOR THIS IN HIS CLASS. I PAINTED THIS PIECE AND LEARNED A LOT ABOUT USING TEXTURE AND LIGHT AS COLORS. LET’S FACE IT. PAINTING ICE IS ROUGH. COLORING COMICS IS A SKILL THAT MANY PEOPLE DISMISS BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS EASY. BUT COLORING COMICS THE RIGHT WAY IS EXTREMELY HARD. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT COOL COLORS RECEDE AND WARM COLORS BRING FORWARD. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND BOUNCE LIGHTS, OCCLUSION SHADOWS, REFELCTIVE LIGHTS AND PRIMARY SHADOWS.  AND YOU HAVE TO DO THIS WHILST STICKING TO A DEADLINE.
